I am going to trip TOKYO by bicycle

  • May. 3rd, 2008 at 11:50 PM

I am going to trip 'Tokyo' by bicylce with my husband.

It will be 3rd time for us to go trip  by bicycle with my husband on Golden-Week Holidays.

1st time, 3 years ago, we went to Asakusa & Ueno.
It was first time for me (and husband) to run by bicycle for long hours.

But from our home (is around Kichijoji) to Asakusa, it took about 3 hours or less.
I was surprised because I was expected that it took more than 4-5 hours.
So I thought Tokyo is Not so big...

2nd time, we went to Hachioji and around Hino and near Takao, kind of hiking.
It was not bad and not far, but roads were hard for bicycle. (because my bicycle is not montain-bike.)

So this year, we are going to Tsukiji, around Ginza.

We have already made reservation Hotel, (semi double room is under 100USD!!)

Traveling by bicycle is interesting because I can find new things that I can't  see
by car or walk. It is new adventure.

I have been living in Tokyo more than 20 years, but there are many things I haven't
seen, found.

That sounds like a lot of fun! You have to write about your adventure when you come back!

That's a nice tradition for you and your husband! Enjoy your adventure, and I hope you see some interesting sights. ^_^

And don't worry too much about whether or not customers will trust you. I think having reviews on your website probably helps, and your contact details are easily available so if customers have questions, they can contact a real person for answers! I trust people easily, even when there are large amounts of money involved, and so far, I have never been disappointed. (Kaoru-san o shinjite imasu!)

It's great that you and your husband can have time to spend with each other away from work :)

My parents used to go cycling around the New Territories in Hong Kong when they were younger [that's what they told me]

I actually cannot ride a bike yet *embarassed* I have to learn how to!

Thank you for your message.
(Your parents had gone cyclying together?)

I couldn't ride on bicyble until I was 11 years old,
and my father was worried about it and educated me..

But if I was born in ultra rich family, I would have
had chauffeured car! :)
